Mosquito crewed by SOS and SandyBottom |
Team B&B Yacht Designs reached the stage point at Sebastian Inlet at 5:11 pm. Chief was there to greet them. They said their first priority is to find a big hamburger or equivalent.

Restaurants and town shops are across the river in Roseland and Sebastian. Chief will provide transportation as needed. SB and SOS want to recharge their batteries, wash clothes, resupply food and water, shower and sleep. They are planning to anchor and sleep on the Mosquito. I suggested they might like Captain Butcher's Marina which is 2 blocks from Walmart, is near several restaurants and offers docks and a boat slip, very nice accomodations (hot showers, real beds!), and a restaurant. But no. They want to stay in camping mode.
Update: Chief reported that "They got resupplied and got two huge takeout meals from a local pub. They will be camping here for the night and moving on early in the morning."
Mosquito Magnet is not far behind in his kayak and should arrive later today.
The Sebastian Inlet stage point marks the end of Stage2 of the Ultimate Florida Challenge.
